About the Role
Enterprise-level Expertise and Leadership:
- Provide expert guidance and leadership in handling vast quantities of data, including disparate data sources, enterprise analytics, and statistical modeling initiatives.
- Lead and mentor staff in descriptive, predictive, prescriptive, and ensemble modeling, using advanced statistical techniques and database tools.
Solution Creation and Communication:
- Develop and execute data-driven solutions from concept to fully tested products, delivering insights to a diverse range of audiences.
- Utilize current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and generate actionable recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of the business model.
Advanced Data Analysis and Decision-making:
- Utilize data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and high-complexity predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive effective decision-making.
- Apply data science skills, machine learning techniques, and Big Data platforms (such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform) to analyze structured and unstructured data.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business situations and provide consultation to senior leadership on data-driven strategies.
- Lead and mentor less senior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
5+ years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation, and/or predictive analytics.
Strong proficiency in Python programming, Splunk SPL Query, Oracle SQL Query, and Power BI Reporting.
Experience with Big Data systems such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Expertise in data science skills, including machine learning usage in Python or on Big Data platforms.
Exceptional analytical skills with diverse analytics and statistical software and applications.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with proven leadership abilities.
Hands-on experience handling multiple terabytes of data (5-10TB) and using data analytics tools and Big Data systems.
Strong expertise in providing enterprise-level initiatives and leadership.
